b. Biceps brachii- flexes and supinates forearm, flexes arm 1. Originates from tubercle above glenoid cavity (long head) and coracoid process of scapula (short head) 2. Inserts at radial tuberostiy and bicipital aponeurosis c. Brachialis- flexes forearm 1. Originates at distal anterior surface of humerus 2. Inserts at ulnar tuberosity and corocoid process of ulna
d. Brachioradius- flexes forearm, semisupinates and semipronates forearm 1. Originates from medial and lateral borders of the distal end of the humerus 2. Inserts superior to styloid process of radius
e. Triceps brachii- extends forearm, extends arm 1. Originates from projection below glenoid cavity( long period), lateral/posterior of humerus( lateral head), and entire posterior of humerus (medial head) 2. Inserts at olecranon of ulna f. Aconeus- extends forearm 1. Origin is lateral epicondyl of humerus 2. Inserts at olecranon and superior portion of shaft of ulna
