Redemption Not Ultimate Objective • The redemption of Israel was merely a step on the way to the ultimate objective of: • A relationship with God (covenant) • A divine revelation (Torah) • The same concept applies to the spiritual redemption we receive through faith in Yeshua. The objective is not merely our own personal salvation from condemnation. God sent His Son to • reconcile sinners to Him in relationship (new covenant) • and to reveal Himself to them (Torah).
Final Redemption • The objective is not merely the ingathering of the exiles of Israel and the defeat of Israel's enemies. The final redemption looks towards: • The initiation of a new covenant • A new revelation of Torah. • Exodus = Final Redemption • Covenant at Sinai = New Covenant Messianic Era • Moses = Yeshua • Mount Sinai = Mount Zion • Giving of Torah = Going Out of the Torah
