IDEAS THAT ARE POTENTIAL RESEARCH TOPICS Packaging: • Cost competitive plastic bottle with strong barrier properties • Development of thinner/optimized sachet • Exploration/Development of plastic additive for blown molded & injection molded bottles • Cost effective customer & shelf-ready packaging Formulation: • Development of accelerated shelf life or storage test procedure/equipment • Utilization of SEM for analysis of biological samples Processing • Optimized emulsification process for cosmetic products • Stability study for structurant (waxes) for solid products Sustainability • Pyrolysis of sachet • Sachet recovery • Feasibility of reworking production waste
