Membership Update • As of this week we have received dues from 36 members (not all reflected on website yet). • Last year we had 35 members pay dues.
Treasurer’s Report • Starting Balance 2010: $949.69 • Membership Fees: $330.00 • Service Fees: ($) 109.45 • Meeting Costs: ($) 138.93 • Current Balance $1031.31

Hennepin County GIS Office Hennepin County GIS Data Services (GDS) The main data goals and objectives include: • Reduce duplicated geospatial data across the organization. • Eliminate duplicate efforts such as maintenance of redundant GIS datasets. • Strategic effort to manage and efficiently maintain data processing associated with GIS data. • Encourage geospatial data sharing across business lines. • Increase organizational awareness of existing GIS datasets. • Ensure consistent and efficient access to GIS datasets across the organization. • Foster coordinated ventures for geospatial data collection between business lines. • Promote data information sharing, integration, and partnership among departments. • Coordinate data custodial responsibilities to ensure data stewardship and accountability. • Increase the accuracy of the County’s geospatial data by requiring a high level of data integrity. • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of GIS datasets across the organization. • Establish baseline spatial and attribute standards for GIS datasets.
