DRY BONES. The hand of the LORD came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry.

THE VISION • Ezekiel is carried away in the spirit • He sees a valley filled with Dry Bones • God asks, “Can these Bones Live” • Ezekiel replies, “O Lord God you know”
THE Prophecy • Ezekiel prophecies to the dry bones • Hear the word of the lord • The bones were assembled into bodies • Then the bones received the breath
THE MEANING • The bones represented Israel • They were cut off and without hope • They would experience a restoration • In the future, God would renew Israel
THE APPLICATION • Restoration requires two steps • Hearing the word of the Lord • Obeying the word of the Lord • Then, We can truly live again • The Prodigal Son…Luk 15:11-32 • The Faithful who die…1Th 4:16
