BUSINESS Business means continuous production and distribution of goods and services with the aim of earning profits under uncertain market conditions.

Importance of Business Studies • It teaches us effective business skills i.e. how to earn, manage and invest resources. • It provides us with basic understanding of various activities of businesses. • It teaches us how we can be our own boss. • It enables to know more about office procedures and practices such as interpersonal communication, public relations, record keeping etc.
