TVAC-NM Objectives • Inform New Mexicans of proposed state and federal legislation impacting the sanctity of life, marriage and families • Provide concise, clear descriptions of how proposed legislation impacts the rights of the unborn, married couples and families • Notify voters to contact their federal and state representatives regarding pending legislation that disrespects life or violates marriage and family rights • Enable constituents to contact federal and state representatives easily and efficiently, articulating concerns in time to make a difference

  3. 2009 NM Session Accomplishments TVAC-NM substantially contributed to the defeat of: • Domestic Partnership (to result in same-sex marriage) • Embryonic Stem Cell Research (science destroying life) • NM Freedom of Choice Act (liberalized abortion laws) • Death With Dignity Act (assisted suicide) • School Tolerance Curriculum (same-sex attraction) • Same Day Voter Registration (enhancing voter fraud)
