  5. Point of Information (POI) • Maximum time in delivering one poi is 15 seconds. • Poi is allowed after one minutes speaker speaking (1st knock once) up to the 2nd knock once. • If the debater break the regulation in giving POI then the timekeeper should say “order” to remind him/her.

  10. How to set the motions preferrence : • The debate will be done with a motion only. • The 2 teams will be asked make order of their preferred motions. • The first motion in the teams preference is the most preffered, the third one is the least preffered

  11. For Example : • Team A : 2,1,3 (so the 3rd motion is the least preffered) • Team B : 1,3,2 (so the 2nd motion is the least preffered) So, you should cross the least preffered motions and use 1st motions for the debate

  12. For Example (cont’d) • Team A : 2,1,3 (so the 2d motion is the most preffered) • Team B : 2,1,3 (so the 2nd motion is the most preffered) So, you should choose 2nd motions for the debate since it is the most preffered

  13. For Example (cont’d) • Team A : 2,1,3 (so the 2d motion is the most preffered) • Team B : 1,2,3 (so the 1st motion is the most preffered) So, you should throw the coin to decide which motion (1st or 2nd) will be debated since there’s no win-win solution between these teams.

  17. What happen in debating room?? • Case building for 30 minutes (affirmative inside, negative outside) make sure they do not cheat!! Not allowed to help in any form!! • Write down the motion, debaters’ and adjus’ name (+) • Pick up the adju from adju’s hall ± 15 minutes before the debate started (-) • Start & finish the debate • Deliver the score sheet to tabulation (-) • Verbal • Distribute the adjudicator evaluation form • Close the round

Job’s description of LO • Bertanggung jawab keberadaan tim selama kompetisi berlangsung. • Memastikan tim menjalankan peraturan dan jadwal dari panitia. • Menjadi chairperson (+) dan time keeper (-) saat debat berlangsung. • Menjemput adjudicator (-) ke ruang dimana perdebatan berlangsung. • Mengumpulkan adju sheet dan membawanya ke tabulation team (-). • Membagikan adju evaluation form setelah adju memberikan verbal dan memberikannya pada tabulation team (+).
