‘Unity of Knowledge’ using Greimas semiotic square Autopoeisis and structural coupling Observing (naming) Interpretive complimentarity Theorising (relating in cultural awareness) Expressing (understanding) Contrary- actually difficult to move across) Contradictory- where movement ‘flows’ first complimentary For Greimas the ‘socially explosive’ position was the bottom left corner – which was moving from what encompassed both of the first positions . So here by ‘starting’ with the living , first movement is through the contradiction of expressing feeling of living, over time a ‘complimentary relation to this settles – that of ‘naming’ which is a form of observing ( not actually living , but in contrary position to on-going living. So this far in the chiasma there are intertwinings inscribed throughagreimas form – but the ‘explosive’ position is explicating an ‘explanation’ – to move from describing to a scientific account ‘theorising’ , which over time influences a form of living in its ‘complimentarity’ – and this has always been there.
