  1. GATEway GRANTS AVAILABLE IN 2014! GATEway Grant Program GATEway is an acronym for Georgia Transportation Enhancement. The GATEway Grant Program assist communities in their efforts to beautify roadsides along state routes. The mission of the GATEway Grant Program is to provide funding for roadside enhancement and beautification projects along Georgia’s roadsides. The grant funds may be used only for landscape plant material and its installation for the furtherance of roadside enhancement and beautification projects along state routes in Georgia. 2013 New Call for Applications GDOT is issuing a new call for grant applications for the GATEway Grant program.
