Identity Crises Carnality (Based upon our own actions) • The longer we stay & play in the realm of Carnality the more we lose our Royal Identity
Identity Crises Identity Theft (Based upon Satan’s influences) • When someone Hi-jacks your identity for personal gain • *Satan does this through the means of: Persuasion Persuaded Eve to rethink her position Distractions Used Job’s friends to distract him from truth Temptations Appealed to Jesus’ overwhelming hunger
Identity Crises Identity Crises defined: • When distress and disorientation are the results of conflicting pressures and uncertainty about one’s self existence in correlation to society and one’s role in the Kingdom of God
Identity Crises • Distress Involves: Spiritual Displeasure Mental or Emotional suffering Constraint or being overcome by harassment Anxiety; • Disorientation Involves: Loss of one’s sense of direction or position Mental, physical, spiritual confusion of personal identity
