  4. The average DUI costs TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ! • Can you afford 10 Grand for a DUI?

  5. A DUI will give you a criminal record. • A DUI will hurt your chances for employment. • A DUI will allow insurance companies to drop you from coverage. • A DUI will stop you from traveling. Some countries, including Canada, count ALL criminal convictions, including a DUI as basis for exclusion from the country.

  7. -Plan ahead. Designate a driver who wont drink. -Call a close friend or family member. Explain the situation and plan ahead next time. -Call a cab. 40$ or 50$ is nothing compared to 10,000.00$.

  10. Help a Buddy Out: Stop Your Friend From Driving Impaired

  11. Have your friend stay the night. • Find the keys while your friend is distracted and take the keys. • Do not embarrass the person • Politely, but firmly take the keys and tell the person you cannot let the person drive home because you care.

  12. Whatever you do, don’t give it. It could save a life.
