  4. valuebill a local e-government national project So how was it for the East Riding? • We started with a good gazetteer in place • Match And Rematch Of Data - • Duplicate BLPU co-ordinates • Records without cross references • Records in Council Tax but not LLPG • Records that don’t match an address • Relations with your NSG

  5. valuebill a local e-government national project Where are we now? • 99.75% Match to Council Tax • But 2024 records didn’t have cross-references, which is 98.58% • Downloading to NLPG weekly

  6. valuebill a local e-government national project What are we trying to achieve? • 100% Match with Council Tax list • All properties in correct geographical location • A master address database for East Riding

Detailed work on NNDR list – Match currently 70% Use LLPG dataset to link to : • Electoral register (Pickwick) • Housing (Academy) • Council Tax (Sx3) • Libraries (Galaxy 2000) • Environment (Flare) • Operational Services (Confirm) • Customer Service Centres (Aspire) • Corporate Document Management System (Anite) • Planning & Land Charges (Uniform)

  8. valuebill a local e-government national project Summary... • Valuebill is not a quick fix for your gazetteer • It will provide an excellent reason for having an accurate gazetteer • It will be invaluable as a driver to achieve success, but it is hard, time consuming and requires a dedicated & enthusiastic staff. • It has provided a vision of how we can use our LLPG to link to other systems and provide seamless information which will save money and time.
