Story about Rebbetzin Chana Rebbetzin Chana had Mesiras Nefesh for her husband, Reb Levik. When Reb Levik was sent to exile in Kazakhstan, Rebbetzin Chana followed. She chose to live close to her husband, in these harsh conditions so she could care for him. She collected grass which she cooked, thus preparing red ink. Reb Levik was now able to continue to write Chidushei Torah in the margins of the seforim that she brought for him, as well as on the papers that she was able to gather.
Lessons from the Story • We should always have Mesiras Nefesh to help another person. • We must always strive to help others in spreading Torah. • Ahavas Yisroel and Ahavas H-shem go hand in hand!
