July 24, 2014GAPP/HEN Coaching – Worker’s Safety WebinarFEEDBACK Suggestions on how the Georgia Hospital Association Research and Education Foundation (GHAREF) can improve this meeting: • Continue real time best practices • OSHA speakers would be helpful • Polling is much easier with voting rather than asking everyone to speak out. As a result of this program are you going to make any changes to your practice or hospital?: • Add the Worker Injury Report to GB. (3 Hospitals) • Continue to integrate Worker and Patient Safety/ more emphasis on Safe Patient Handling • Review with our committee and trend the worker injuries. Have a meeting on Thursday 7-31-14 to review with team. • Give consideration to the addition of the worked time factors to investigation of worker injuries. (5 Hospitals) • Accident review committee (3 Hospitals) • We have been planning a safety week to promote worker safety and injury prevention and this will be helpful to guide us. How can GHA assist you in making these changes or addressing obstacles? • Share sample policy and procedures • Update on upcoming OSHA Standards. • Continue educational opportunities • Clarify the data requirements
