  2. （一）WebSPIRS简介 它是美国国立医学图书馆的MEDLARS中，研制开发的医学文献分析与检索系统。它是最大且使用频率最高的的生物医学文献数据库。该系统收录了1966年以来70多个国家，40多个语种正式出版的，3700余种生物医学期刊中1000余万条生物医学文献记录（年收录量为40余万条）。以及少量的专论和半公开的出版物，现有题录及文摘800万余条，其中80%以上为英文文献，75%-85%含文摘。 内容包括生命科学、自然科学、社会科学、化学、药学、技术和设备、信息科学等与医学相关的众多学科文献，并有医学、护理学、牙科、兽医学、基础医学、肿瘤和毒理学七个专业数据库。

  7. 查找（FIND or SEARCH）可实现： • 单词检索 LIVER • 词组检索LIVER CARCINOMA • 连缀检索LIVER-DISEASE • 截词检索IMMUN* • 逻辑式检索LIVER and CT • 限字段检索LIVER in AB • 以前检索式 #5

  8. （2）主题词检索(Thesaurus) • 主菜单下选“Thesaurus”项，进入主题词检索； • 输入相应的检索词，回车，进入主题词轮排表； • 选定主题词后回车，进入主题词显示状态，包括主题词相关参照、回溯注释、树状结构等；

  9. 主题词检索（THESAURUS）可实现： • 主题词单检LIVER NEOPLASMS • 主题词扩检explode LIVER NEOPLASMS

  10. （二）WebSPIRS使用 使用IE或Netscape网络浏览器，进入江苏大学图书馆主页（网址http://lib.ujs.edu.cn），在主页网络数据库一栏选择WebSPIRS on MedLine，用左键点击进入。 江苏大学图书馆收藏的数据库，仅限于校园网用户使用。

  12. 关键词检索：在Find栏输入关键词

  13. 主题词检索：在右边选择Thesaurus键进入主题词查找界面主题词检索：在右边选择Thesaurus键进入主题词查找界面

  14. 选择主题词后，再选择副主题词，按右上的Search 键查找
