  1. Overcoming the Fear of Rejection A often paralyzing fear that must be overcome!

  2. The Key: I Sam 8:7 • 7 The LORD said to Samuel, "Listen to the voice of the people in regard to all that they say to you, for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me from being king over them. NASU Not Take Rejections Personally!

  3. I Peter 3: 15 • “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason for the hope that is in you with meekness and fear.” Right Relationship

  4. Matthew 7:24-27 • “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: • And the rain descends and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. • And everyone that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand, and the rain descended, and the floods came and beat upon the house, and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” Is Your Life Founded upon Rock or Sand?

  5. Are You Saved? • Yes, by the grace of God • Maybe, I hope so. • I think so. • I don’t know, we will see!

  6. I John 5:13 • “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” You Are Supposed to Know!

  7. Heaven only accepts volunteers • Some think they are saved, that are not. Matt 7:21 • Those who are truly saved, ought to know it! No Surprises in Heaven

  8. How can you get confidence? • Heb 3:6 “Christ is son over His own house, whose house are we, if we hold fast that confidence and the rejoicing of our hope, firm until the end.” • Heb 3:14 “We are made partakers with Christ if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end.” Remember how you felt after you first obeyed?

  9. Key Principle • God has not asked us to be lawyers, but to be faithful to tell others the great things God has done for us! • Lk 8:39 – “Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you. And he departed, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him. And as Jesus returned, the multitude welcomed Him, for they had been waiting for Him.”

  10. Matthew 5:16 • “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorifyyour Father which is in heaven.”

  11. Matthew 5:16 • “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorifyyour Father which is in heaven.” You Will Get the Glory unless by your words you point people to God!

  12. Not Optional • Moses Ps 106:32- They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes: Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spake unadvisedly with his lips. What did he say?

  13. Num 20:10ff 10 Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock ? • 12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them. Did not glorify Him

  14. II Timothy 1:7 • “God hath not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and discipline.” Plug into God's Power
