Announcements Congrats to Chase Roberts for showing the Grand Champion and Reserve Champion market goats at the Georgia Young Farmers’ Association Market Goat Show this past weekend, in Perry at the Georgia National Fairground.  Chase also won his showmanship division. Congratulations also, to Cody Brooks and Reece Bozeman.  Cody finished second in Showmanship, and he showed a class winner that finished as a Division Reserve Champion.  Reece placed 3rd with his goat, and placed in the top 5 for Showmanship.

  3. Announcements There will be no Saturday Detention on: August 31 September 21 November 30 December 21 December 28 January 4 February 22 April 12 The last day of Saturday Detention will be May 24.

  4. Announcements The 50th Annual Miss Georgia Peanut Pageant will be held August 17 @ the Sumner Auditorium starting at 5 p.m. Please come out and support our students. Miss LizzYoder--the reigning 2012 Teen Miss Georgia Peanut--will be providing entertainment for this gala event! This pageant helps promote our high school and community!! The Junior – Miss contestants will light up the floor with their opening number “This Girl is on FIRE”.

  5. Announcements Math tutoring will be held each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 3:20-4:20. Tuesdays:  Dodd: Coordinate Algebra and Analytic Geometry Dorminey: Math 3 and Math 4 Thursdays:  Souter: Coordinate Algebra and Analytic Geometry Woodall: Math 3 and Math 4

  6. Announcements During EOCTs, cell phones are NOT allowed in the testing room. Leave it in your locker or vehicle.

  7. Announcements Any student interested in joining FBLA should see Mrs. Davis in Room 102 to sign up.  Dues are $10.

  8. Announcements All students interested in drama - please see Blaze Crawley or Mrs. Woodall for information.

  9. Announcements Students: want to get in to all the games at WCHS and the middle school? Don’t want to pay the price at the gate? Buy a student athletic pass! See Mrs. Odom in the principal’s office to purchase yours for $40. This student athletic pass will get you into all the regular season home games at WCHS and the middle school.

  10. Announcements Senior make-up formal pictures are Aug. 14 (Wednesday) in the multipurpose room. See Mr. Holt in room 149 to sign up for an appointment time.

  11. Announcements Aug. 13 – picture day for all students, grades 9-12 and faculty/staff.

  12. Announcements Yearbooks are on sale now thru Aug. 16 for $50. Stop by Mr. Holt’s room (149) for an order form. Get four free icons when you personalize your yearbook! Offer ends Aug. 31!

  13. Announcements Freshmen interested in playing football this season should see Coach Tone or Coach Siegmund as soon as possible. The bus to the football field leaves at 3:15.
