  2. 2012 Development • √ 4.10 upgrade (2/7/12) • √ 4.10.1-4.10.5 (Feb – April, 2012) • √ 4.12 upgrade (5/31/12) • 4.12 bug fix release – late summer • 4.14 SOLR enhancement – August • 4.16 late fall – planned projects for 2012 • Koha evaluation – complete by end of December

  3. 2012 Development • Cataloging • Authority Control • Authority loader (4.16) • RDA Compliance and other authority control features (4.16) • √ Invalid barcodes (4.12) • Automated materials handling & Self checks • √ Lost items identified (4.10.3) • √ Add Shelving location to sort criteria (4.10.3) • Renew items on self checks (4.16)

  4. 2012 Development • PAC / Patrons • √ Relevancy ranking improvement (4.10) • √ Fix holds message when placing additional hold (4.10) • Title browse (4.16) • Display full titles in PAC & staff (4.16) • √ Limiting by all books and adult (4.12) • Sort facets alphabetically – may be available with SOLR • √ Add drop down box with format search limits on main search page (4.12) • √ Change wording of Browse shelf feature

  5. 2012 Development • Circulation • √ Retain last patron (4.10) • √ Add agency code to checkin messages (4.10) • Ability to save messages to history (4.16) • √ Have Talking Tech check to see if patron picked up hold (4.12) • Improve fines & lost payment process (4.16) – possibly a major re-vamp

  6. 2012 Development • Response time • √ Retrieving magazine titles (4.10) • Improving new bib indexing time (SOLR 4.14) • Data archiving planned for fall • GetIt Acquisitions • √ EDI is fully working • Create items on order • √ Bulk send to catalog works to create on order items • Individual PO lines will create items for new titles • Still need updating items at point of receipt

Other Projects • Ecommerce (2012 plan) • √ Downloadable mobile app for patrons (2012 plan) – 2,793 users in June visited 11,357 times • √ Text message holds notices • √ Series & Awards, Social tags & reviews, Similar Titles, Excerpts (ILS Users Group in March) • Library online authentication • √ Remove fines history for patrons now in sandbox (ILS Users Group)
