Schedule • Coordination committee, workshops & network meetings • WP coorination meeting in August 2000 • Distribution of tasks to members • Memebers are expected to contribute with their experience • Network meeting/Workshop 23-34 october 2000: • Plenary/Parallell sessions • Present/Discuss/Plan further work • Summary report (Delivareble No 1) in November 2000

WP VII - Network Management • Periodic Reports • Biannual Management Report • reports informing on the management and the progress of the project for the previous period, but which are not linked to a payment (submitted without a cost statement • Input from members to the contractor they are linked to: • A report on their contribution to THEMES. • Input from WP co-ordinators: • Technical Progress • Comparison of planned vs. achieved work (including deviations and corrective actions) • Planned activities for next period (deviations) • The secretariat is responsible for writing and submitting this report to the Commission
WP VII - Network Management • Periodic Reports continued • Annual Progress Report • reports informing on the management and the progress of the project for the previous period, but which are linked to a payment (submitted with a cost statement) • Input from WP co-ordinators: • same as for biannual management reports • state of the art review and expected results and expansions • list of deliverables • Update of Part 2 of TIP • The secretariat is responsible for writing and submitting this report to the Commission
WP VII - Network Management • Periodic Reports continued • Cost statements • reports the amount of the expenditure for each cost category of all eligible costs incurred during the corresponding period • Input from WP co-ordinators: • overview of all eligible costs for all members associated with the WP • The secretariat is responsible for writing and submitting this report to the Commission along with the annual progress report.
WP VII - Network Management • Technology Implementation Plan • Intention is to show how we are going to use the results from THEMES - predefined data sheets • Schedule: • M1 - 1st version - start filling out forms • M19 - Draft version at mid term • M36 - Final version submitted to the Commission
WP VII - Network Management • THEMES Web Site Prototype • There will be an open (to the public) and restricted part (for members) • The restricted part shall be used for • distribution of reports/results • distribution of minutes and related information/presentations • discussion forum • Major revisions annually based on results from WP II • Final version will be a prototype of web-site for information on safety assessment applied to shipping • The secretariat is responsible for setting up and maintaining this web site
WP VII - Network Management • e-mail list • Objective: Distribute infomation about THEMES to interested parties. • Stage 1: All members of the co-ordination committee sends in name, address, type of contact, and e-mail address of potentially interested parties to the secretariat. • Stage 2: Based on feedback and experience with this e-mail list, the members will be encouraged to submit such information to secretariat • Responsibilities • The secretariat creates and maintains the e-mail list, and makes it available through the web site • All members of the co-ordination committee submit lists of interested parties
Member/WP Matrix • Will be distributed immediately after this meeting. • Members are asked to review their WP involvment
