Notes and Terms to define cont.: • C.F.C- Chloroflurocarbons-- chemicals first developed as coolants for air conditioning/ refrigeration and aerosol sprays. Each molecule of CFC lived to destroy thousands of molecules of ozone • ACID RAIN- Moisture in the form of rain/ snow which contains sulfur oxides which become diluted soup of sulfuric and nitric acid, reaches the ground, plants and the water cycle can’t handle the added acidity threatens all ecosystems.
