Interest Meeting Agenda A. Overview of scholarship • Student must travel to a country in which the language s/he is studying at Penncrest is an official language • Student/family must select a program of at least 3 weeks • The program may be homestay, or in a school setting; • Student/family is responsible for due diligence in evaluating the travel abroad program/organization

Interest Meeting Agenda • Application Process – see packet for the dates • Submit all parts of the application • Interviews – November 30th(student and parent) • Notification – no later than Monday the next week • Student/family research programs (notify Mrs. Rivierewhen selected) • Checks distributed March/April • Contact Mrs. Rivierewith an update during the summer • “Sell” the program at the Interest Meeting next September and at the WL Fête in the Spring
Interest Meeting Agenda • Forms and deadlines • Distribute forms to guidance counselors and teachers; ask them to return forms directly to Mrs. Riviere • Complete and return student and parent statement with the application form • Students: FOLLOW UP to be sure that all forms are submitted NO LATER than the application due date. (late applications will not be considered for the scholarship)
