Learning Center Volunteers • 385% growth in # of volunteers from ‘97 to ‘00 • Growth at about 25% from 2000 to 2003. • SeniorNet currently has 5,775 volunteers.
Learning Center Membership • Rapid growth ‘97 to ‘00 • Decline after Sept. 11, 2001 • Reasons: • Economy • Competition • Lack of PR
SeniorNet Public Service Announcement (PSA) on TV • PSA • 4,000,000 impressions, but only 350 calls to 800 number in ad. • Not too many airings of PSA in Philly or NJ/NY • Evaluation • Airings at off hours • TV is very expensive for impact
