RESULTS • September 01/05 to December 31/05: • Demand for ENERGY STAR rated windows increased by 21% • Suppliers handling ENERGY STAR rated windows benefited from an increase in sales, 46% increase in revenue. • Customers reached through both paid and unpaid media was at full saturation, 420,000 residential customers.
RESULTS • Supplier attendance for the workshops, 230 or 77% of the target market. • Five Manitoba based window manufactures motivated to begin the steps necessary to achieve the ENERGY STAR rating. • The demand for the triple pane technology increased 6.27%, with the corresponding drop in dual pane.
RESULTS • Annual energy savings over the promotional period, estimated at 195,000 kWh and 129,000 cu.m of natural gas with a reduction of 410 tonne of CO2 emissions. • Seventy Five window suppliers were actively promoting the promotion with POP display materials, including all Big-box retail outlets.
