The Wii is Nintendo’s fifth games console, The console was released on December 8 th 2006. Since then over 7.31 million consoles have sold worldwide. The UK is experiencing a large shortage of Wii’s though.

  1. The Wii is Nintendo’s fifth games console, The console was released on December 8th 2006. Since then over 7.31 million consoles have sold worldwide. The UK is experiencing a large shortage of Wii’s though. The Wii is the smallest home console o date which only measures to be 3 DVD cases stacked together, and only weighting 1.2Kg making it the lightest.

  2. Comparing Sizes As you can see the Wii is the smallest out of the 3 but the least powerful.

  3. Controlling the Wii The Wii is controlled using the Wiimote which has a tilt sensor inside it. It also vibrates and plays sound too. The Woo uses a nunchuk which has a thumb stick for other games. The Wii can also use GameCube controllers too.

  4. Wii GUI The Wii uses a simple GUI with computer like features like the pointer which is controlled with the Wiimote. The Wii has its own built in web browser and downloadable mini games

  5. Wii Damage Because the Wiremote is an active controller making u make actual moves as if it the real thing the Wiimote can get throw across the room this is very common, This is caused by the strap breaking which still has not been fixed.
