  1. TCL Online Welcome to the TCL Online course demo. This brief tour will give you an overview of our learning platform and a preview of what to expect from a TCL online learning experience. TCL Onlinecourses are user-friendly, engaging, and relevant for all PreK-12 educators, providing knowledge and skills that you can immediately apply in the classroom. TCL Online courses are of the same high quality as our site-based courses. TCL Online classes bring the added benefits of flexibility and convenience. In addition, we’ve designed a rich, interactive environment to ensure that even though you may be working at your own pace, you are not on your own. An instructor is available to guide you through the material and assess your progress. Topical discussions with peers allow you to develop and share your ideas. And the TCL staff is always at the ready to help you with information and technical support.

  2. At Your Convenience TCL online classes launch directly from the TCL Web site, so you can access your class 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can participate in the course at times when it is most convenient for you, without leaving your home.TCL online classes are also self-paced, allowing you to work when you want and at a pace that fits your schedule. You must complete your course within the 12-week term that begins when you first log in.

  3. How It Works TCL online classes are delivered in our own user-friendly learning environment. Each class is divided into milestones, which consist of learning content and related assignments. Milestone learning activities guide you through online content or reading from the assigned textbooks. Assignments are designed to help you apply your new knowledge in your professional practice. The typical course consists of 8-10 of these milestones.

  4. Completing an Assignment After you have read each Milestone assignment, you will complete your work in a separate program such as Microsoft Word. To submit your finished work, you simply follow instructions to copy and paste it from your document into a web form and send it to your instructor.It’s as easy as that.

Manage Your Work and Get Instructor Feedback The assignment page allows you to track your progress through the course and receive feedback from your instructor.After you submit an assignment, you receive feedback and input directly from your instructor, who will provide you with one-on-one guidance through your class.TCL Online classes are facilitated by highly qualified instructors who hold advanced degrees in their areas of expertise.
