  4. What is a World Heritage Site?“What makes the concept of World Heritage exceptional is its universal application. World Heritage sites belong to all the peoples of the world, irrespective of the territory on which they are located.” (UNESCO)Can you name these sites?

  5. Bath is a World Heritage Site for two main attributes:1) The Georgian architecture and town planning 2) The Roman Baths

  6. World Heritage Sites are managed by UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation).In 1972 UNESCO set up the World Heritage List to protect important sites for all the peoples of the world.Bath was declared a World Heritage Site in 1987.
