  3. - If you choose to invest in a fund, there might be a mandatory minimum investment that a investment management company will make you pay in order to invest. Any limits there might be to this type of account?

  4. An investor who likes medium risk • Mutual Funds offer investors an affordable way to own shares of many stocks, which is less risky than owning just a few shares. What type of investor would most likely use this fund?

  5. Income Returns • A fund must pay its investors the net bond interest or stock dividends the fund receives • Capital Returns (from the fund) • When a fund’s profits from selling stocks or bonds are greater than its losses from selling securities, then it must distribute the net profits, called net capital gains, to investors. • Capital Returns (from selling fund shares) • Fund’s share price fluctuates with changes in the value of the stocks or bonds held by the fund. You can make money by selling fund shares for a higher price than you paid for them. How do you make money on this type of investment?

  6. It’s best to invest in balanced mutual funds when we have low interest rates and low inflation. Is there an “economic climate” that this type of account works best in?
