  6. Fire Fund Operational and Emergency Reserves 5 Year Forecast In FY 17 operating reserves are depleted.

Partnerships Daytona State College: • Minimum standards certification (day program) • Volunteer recruitment/training • Fire Officer I and II certifications Flagler Technical Institute: - Minimum standards certification (night program) -Emergency vehicle operations course - First responder courses Embry Riddle Aeronautical University: -First aid, disaster response and land navigation Dept. Public Protection Divisions: EVAC Corrections Emergency Mgmt. Beach Safety Animal Control EMS Medical Examiner

  11. Future of the Fire Service(multi-purpose apparatus) Rescue–Engine, which is capable of fire suppression and EMS first response and transport. Tender-Engine carries water for extinguishment and has engine capabilities. Tele-Squirt provides an elevated stream of water using a 55-foot ladder. Squad-Engine, which has firefighting and heavy rescue capabilities.
