  3. NUMBER OF INHABITANTS: In Scotland there are 5.116.900 inhabitants (65 inhabitants/km²) GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION: Scotland is situated in the northern part of the Britain Islands, its surface is 78.772 km². Its coordinates are: 55º 57’ N 3’ 12’ W
