What Consumers Are Doing This Holiday Season • Wal-Mart Research: • 55% of shoppers started budgeting for Christmas toy shopping by August. • 70% of consumers are planning on starting holiday shopping before Halloween. • 2 out of 10 will have finished Christmas toy shopping by the time the kids dress up for Halloween.
