RIs description • National RIs to be integrated in EPOS • IMO’s natioinal seismic network , SIL (56), continuous GPS network, ISGPS (17-58), strain meter network (4) • EERC’s strong motion network and array, ICESMN & ICEARRAY (19/14) • LMI’s continuous GPS network (6) • IES’s campaign GPS data and InSAR database • (Portable seismic (13) and GPS Instruments, IMO & IES)

Governmental Links • Commitment from Icelandic government: • Signed letter from Ministry of Environment acknowledging the imortance of IMO’s networks for EPOS participation • National body coordinating ESFRI initiatives • Minsitry of Educatioin Science and Culture • Dr. Firidrika Hardardóttir, ESFRI representative • fridrika.hardardottir@mrn.stjr.is • National Roadmap for RI already drafted, to be signed in December 2009.
