Steps taken to improve the progress and completion rate • Filling up all vacancies of (TC) Block Engineer & Sr. TC (District Engineer) • Funds released to SMC a/c newly operationalised • Recruitment of teachers • State Government has sanctioned 17000 teachers under its own quota • Training to TC, Sr. TC & teachers • Training to SMC under a programme called “SAHAYOG” • Frequently monitoring at School, Block & District level. • Coordination meeting with RD Deptt. for completion of Drinking Water & toilets
Impact of steps taken • The state was able to achieve the target as per Plan of Action presented on 8th July 2011.

Planning to complete all spillover work • Asst. Engineers monitoring frequently for progress of work • Filling all vacancies of TC & Sr. TC • Coordination meeting with Bankers for quick release of funds to School / SMC a/c • Zone wise assignment are given to State level Engineer for close monitoring
Commitment • By 31-03-2012 – all works (upto 2010-11) to be completed. • Balance gap to be covered by December-2012
