Vegetarian diets can improve digestion and skin tone. They, or vegetarians, have a lower risk at developing certain types of cancer, such as stomach cancer. Positive information
Negative information • Vegetarians have a lower cholesterol than non-vegetarians. • They (vegetarians), have a five percent lower bone mineral density (BMD). • Studies show that osteoporosis, asthma, allergies, and migraines are about fifty percent higher in vegetarians.
Random facts • Only about 3.2% of the population are vegetarians! • Currently, 70% of the worlds vegetarians are Indians from India. • The first Vegetarian Society was formed in England in 1847. The society’s goal was to teach people that it is possible to be healthy without eating meat.
Answer The answer is…most of the time, although you would think vegetarians are much healthier, they aren’t really. As you’ve learned from this presentation, there is much more negative things about them. Most of the time, not all the time, they aren’t much healthier than any normal non-vegetarian.
