Overview • Scenario – Excise Duty • This scenario includes all configuration required to support the processes for excise duties as provided with the Extension Set 2.0 of SAP R/3 Enterprise 4.70. • When alcoholic material is purchased, moved, or sold, the accompanying processes become tax-relevant with respect to the excise duty. This scenario demonstrates the excise duty processing that provides monitoring and reporting functions on excise duty-relevant material movements in the vendor-manufacturer-customer relationship. • This scenario is made up of several building blocks containing the preconfiguration required for the Excise Duty scenario. Building blocks can help you to implement the solution and put it into production quickly. • To illustrate the scenario presented in this overview document, a business view for the scenario is provided within this documentation. • Business View The business view shows the business partners participating in the Excise Duty scenario, the entire scope of the business processes, and the benefits for the parties involved.

Create tax return document Perform month end closing Excise Duty Business Benefits Vendor with tax warehouse number Manufacturer with tax warehouse number Customer with/without tax warehouse number Business Benefits Additional functionality is available to support the creation of reports which are required for the tax controller.
