Humans are generally infected in one of three ways: ingestion, inhalation, or through abraded skin. Common way of B.canisinfections in human are through close contact with infected dog or excessive exposure or contact with bacterial cultures. Signs of infection include… Pyrexia, headaches, back ache, and physical weakness. But in severe infection death may occur due to endocarditisor meningitis. Please consult your physicianAS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you think you have all these signs… Is there a way to prevent infection? Yes. Remember to wash your hand thouroughly with soap or disinfectant after played with your dog! Make sure your dog is free fromBrucella and have annual check-up by your veterinarian.
