Biodata • Sally Ride was born on May 26, 1951 in Los Angeles, California. • Ride enrolled in Stanford University. • Sally Ride has one sibling, named Karen Ride. • Ride was a Norwegian family. • Sally Ride has pass away on 23 July, 2012 at her age of 61. Strategies • Sally Ride participated in a mission sequence test in preparation for STS-7, in the Kennedy Space Center. Purpose • Ride wanted to be the first American woman to go to the space. • Ride wanted to deploy communication satellites for Canada and Indonesia. White Hat (Informations/Facts)

  3. With PAM-D, Sally Ride and her crews were able to deploy 2 communications satellites (Canada’s Anik and Indonesia’s Palapa). • Sally Ride can achieved her dream to became an astronaut. Yellow Hat (Strengths) The crews that were joining the mission, deploying the 2 communication satellites.

  4. On January 28, 1986, the Challenger fell to pieces a few minutes after take-off. The entire crew killed in the disaster. • Tragedy befell the American space program again in 2003, when the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated on reentering the atmosphere. Once again, the entire crew was lost! Sally Ride was the only member of the previous Challenger Commission to join the Space Shuttle Columbia Accident Investigation Board. Black Hat (Weaknesses)

I think she was nervous because she had a special responsibility to be the first American woman in space. • I think she was proud because she can be the first American woman to go to the space. • I think she felt excited when she wanted to go to the space because it was her dream to becaming an astronaut.
