  2. Thinking Strategically • First we have to identify the TRENDS • That is, identify the main PROCESSES OF CHANGE observable today • Then, once we are satisfied that we have done that, we can PROJECT them into the future • And see where they take us

  15. Sovereignty • There will be a lot of pressure on us to “act globally” and that will raise the issue of national sovereignty. • The US could end up much more out-0f-line than it is now.
