  3. Problem • Sliding • Photons are absorbed and Scattered • Time Consuming • Potential Bio-Hazard • Not Professional

  4. Objective • To design a sample holder that will improve the resolution and accuracy of the rapid scanning x-ray fluorescence technique.

  5. Constraints • Sample must be mounted vertically for at least 6 hours without sliding. • Contain samples of varying dimensions. • Sample must be ready for scanning before it is packed for transportation. • Easy and fast to load and clean. • All components must be metal free. • Compatible with existing stages. • Budget.
