  2. 1 Timothy 4:12 • Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an exampleof those who believe.

  3. I. Show Yourself An Example • In speech • Honest speech • Pure speech • Edifying speech

  4. In Conduct • Philippians 1:27 – Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ….

  5. In Love… • Luke 6:32 -- If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.

  6. In Faith… • Hebrews 11:6 – And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is ad that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

  7. In Purity • Titus 1:15 – To the pure, all things are pure; but to those who are defiled ad unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their mind ad the conscience are defiled.

  8. II. Give Attention To… • Public reading of Scripture • Romans 10:17 – So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

  9. Exhoration • 2 Timothy 4:2 -- …preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

  10. Teaching • Colossians 3:16 – Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs….

  11. So that… • 1 Timothy 4:15 – Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.
