History Being one of the oldest schools in the region, our school has a long history. The first certification dates back to 1835. The older school building in our schoolyard was built in the 1920’s and the institution counted four classes, a school museum, a common room and the director’s house. The school library was one of the riches in Gorj, but unfortunately, it was burned during the communist government.
