Current Activities • Workgroups are finalizing the drafting of a 24 month workplan • VGS is organizing past data/studies • VGS assuring that there is awareness and representation on pertinent NERC and NAESB activities • DOE funding • Announcement due April 30

Planning Workgroup Update • Chair – (open) • Draft Workplan Activities • Perform transmission adequacy analyses for accommodating the integration of variable generation • Review historical data to correlate variable generation levels with peak and light load and transmission line loadings to validate planning assumptions
