  4. Purpose: to identify the false doctrine of legalism as anything but “good news”

  5. The Gospel is not about being safe or comfortable. It’s about being delivered from sin. The legalist will always say…

  24. Conclusion and Summary The Gospel of Jesus Christ was too precious to the apostle Paul to remain silent. Thus, people ask, “why was it Paul was being so upset at those legalists?” The real question for us is why aren’t we just as upset at legalism today, the gospel that is not good news?!
