This session will review the deliverables and provide resources on how your project can comply with the requirements. 2
EPLC Framework Overview The HHS EPLC framework: • Applies to all HHS IT investments and projects • Consists of ten life cycle phases • Provides the flexibility and allows for differences in project size, complexity, scope, duration, etc. • Accommodates iterative development methodologies
CDC Unified Process – Project Management Guide Provides guidance and advice to project managers and teams throughout the entire life cycle of a project in the form of a step-by-step best practice approach. 7

Ongoing Project Management Deliverables Certain project management activities are inherently required in every life cycle phase. Those activities are described here rather than repeating them in each phase.
