BMCC ECE PROGRAM The big changes • Changes in Major Area of Study- Non ECE • Removal of SOC 100, PSY 250 or SOC 240/250, HED 100 • Addition of ENG 334 • ECE 102 replaced with ECE 110 & 210 • 6 courses in ECE sequence  now 7 • Change in progression order • Exceptional child: 2nd semester  4th semester • Increase in credit hours for fieldwork courses • Additional seminar hour • Updates to all ECE #, titles & course descriptions • Facilitate transfer and accreditation needs • Grade to progress to next in sequence = minimum of “C”
