  4. June 2010 Action Items • Include comments to DIS vote for RP 13B-2 6th ed. / ISO 10414-2. Forward for FDIS ballot. API will publish based on DIS. • Publish ISO 13500, Amendment 1 following FDAM ballot • Get 13C 3rd ed. / 13501 printed • Prepare DIS 13J/13503-3 with PCT? • Complete RP 13K for ballot • Encourage work on RP 13L • Notify API of Mark Morgan departure

  5. TG2 CHARGES • Assist TGs and WGs in technical and editorial work on documents for publication • Format the document to a publishable format • Prepare all drawings in a publishable format • Include CAS numbers, equations, and proper use of shall, should and may

  6. TG2 CHARGES (CONT) • Maintains a list of standards and publication status • TG or WG chair is responsible for technical content and contacting TG2 when assistance is needed • API TG2 assists ISO SC3/WG1 in preparing NWIs and documents for ISO Central Secretariat

  7. REPORT – SPEC 13A/ISO 13500 • API published 18th edition – Feb 2010 including Clause 20 (Barite 4,10) • ISO 13500 published Nov 08 – did not include Barite 4,10 • ISO AM1 Barite 4,10:2010

  8. API SPEC 13A • API Monogram Program requested Spec 13A be color-coded for audit purposes • Completed and reviewed by M-I, BHI, Newpark and Halliburton, • Questions for Auditors constructed • Work completed for API

  9. REPORTRP 13B-1/ISO 10414-1 • API RPP 13B-1 published Mar 09 • ISO 10414-1 published in 2008 • No work done on Annexes I and J – PPT – waiting on WG to submit new text • NWI must be prepared for API and ISO to include PPT in Annexes I (and J deleted), as an Amendment (ceramic disks, procedure)

REPORTRP 13B-2 / ISO 10414-2 • ISO FDIS accepted by ISO CS – Nov 10 Stage 50.00 • Reworked with new equations (33), (34) and (35) of dual salt calculations (THANKS – PAUL SCOTT) • ISO FDIS vote Feb 2011 (50.20) • API will print following ISO vote • NWI must be prepared for API and ISO to include PPT in Annexes K (and L deleted), as an Amendment (procedure)

  11. REPORTRP 13C / ISO 13501 • ISO NWI and DIS approved • Accepted by ISO CS for FDIS – Nov 10 • FDIS ballot (50.20) – March 2011 • API will published following completion of FDIS ballot

  12. REPORTRP 13D • Published May 2010 • P. Bern pointed out errors in equations (46) and (47) • Mario Zamora has submitted several pages of corrections – need decision as how to proceed as not all are editorial

  13. REPORTRP 13I / ISO 10416 • API RP 13I, 8th edition, published Mar 09 • ISO published 2008 • No work done on Clauses 27 and 28 – PPT – waiting on WG to submit new text • NWI must be prepared for API and ISO to include PPT in Clauses 27 (and 28 deleted), as an Amendment (ceramic disks, procedure)

  14. REPORTRP 13J / ISO 13503-3 • Accepted for NWI ballot by ISO CS • DIS stage (40.00) • Ballot is out in some countries, should be in USA shortly • Addition buffer capacity and corrosion included

  15. REPORTRP 13K • Approved by TG8 • Submitted to SC13 for vote • API Publications is editing and document should be available in Feb 2011

  16. REPORTRP 13L • Reaffirmed in Sep 2010 • Publication date remains 02/03, edition 1 • D. Ekas is reviewing need for additions or deletions

  17. REPORTRP 13M / ISO 13503-1 • RP 13M, edition 4, published 07/04 • Time for three-year review • Mahmoud Asadi will report during SC13 meetings this week • Need to change API numbering to reflect this is part of series 13M-xxx (this will be API RP 13M-1)

  18. REPORTRP 13M-4 / ISO 13503-4 • API 1st edition, published 12/06 • ISO 1st edition, published in 2006 • Time for three-year review

  19. Old Business • Combining 13B-1, 13B-2, and 13I into single document – Paul S., Jim B., and Marvin P. will address prior to Jan 2011 New Business • M. Zamora’s comments to RP 13D • K. Morton procedure for HTHP viscometer • L. Mitchell PPT procedure for three standards

  20. Next Scheduled Meeting • TG does not meet, all work done electronically • Next report to SC13 – June 2011 • Report is for information only • San Francisco – Grand Hyatt
