The Phoenix. The phoenix is a symbol of eternal life, life after death, the circle of life, and resurrection. Only one can exist at a time. The phoenix lives for an average of 500 years. Powers.

The Phoenix • The phoenix is a symbol of eternal life, life after death, the circle of life, and resurrection. Only one can exist at a time. The phoenix lives for an average of 500 years.
Powers • The phoenix has the ability to recover from any wound, making it virtually invulnerable. They say that a single tear from a phoenix has the power to heal any wound, ailment, or disease.
Death and Rebirth • Once every 500 years, the phoenix builds a nest, and once inside the nest, sets it on fire. The bird and the nest both burn to ashes. From the ashes a new baby phoenix emerges.
God-like Status • The phoenix is revered as a god in some cultures, Egyptian and Greek . • This bird is supposed to guard over troubled souls.
A New Day Dawns • The phoenix would arise at the crack of dawn, as the sun begins to rise over the hilltops, and lets out a song so beautiful, that all who heard this song would stop and listen to it for as long as the phoenix sang.
