2. We have Upstream Arts today. Upstream Arts happens every (day of the week) in (Room/Space). The room is always set up the same. The chairs are set in a semi-circle, music is playing, and the schedule is up front.

3. When I walk into the room, I see the Upstream Arts teachers (Names). They say “Hi” to me and give me a nametag when I sit in my chair. We do a fun warm up activity to start.

4. When the activity is finished, everyone finds a chair to sit in. The Upstream Arts teachers welcome us and tell us the schedule for the day.

5. We also talk about the Guidelines for Good Graces. The three Guidelines for Good Graces are: 1) Raise your hand 2) Respect others and ourselves and 3)Take a Risk and try something new.

6. After we go over the schedule, it is time for introductions. During introductions, each person introduces themselves by saying “Hi! My name is… And today I am feeling …”. Our feelings are described using different words, sounds and movements.

7. When introductions are finished we do (two/three) other activities. Some of these activities might be new to me and that is okay. I will always try my best.

8. When the activities are finished, it is time to say good-bye. The Upstream Arts teachers talk about what we did that day, and say good-bye. I will see them again next (day of the week).
