It is performed by women, who dance in a circular formation, while singing and clapping. The dance is performed on auspicious occasions and festivals, and is characterized by its intricate footwork and colorful costumes. Ghoomar is considered a symbol of Rajasthani culture and heritage. Kalbeliya:- Kalbeliya is a traditional folk dance of the Kalbeliya people, a nomadic tribe of Rajasthan, India. The dance is performed by women, who are known for their skillful and elegant serpentine movements, and is usually accompanied by the music of the traditional instrument, the pungi (a woodwind instrument). It is performed by a group of 13 women, who sit in a circle and rhythmically clap their hands, while singing devotional songs. The dance is usually performed during festivals and special occasions, and is accompanied by a dhol (drum) and a sarangi (stringed instrument). The dancers are usually dressed in traditional Haryanvi attire, which includes a ghagra (long skirt) and a choli (blouse).
Gair Dance:- Gair dance is very popular Rajasthani folk dance. It is typically performed during festivals and other celebrations, and is characterized by a group of people dancing in a circle, with one person performing acrobatic feats and stunts in the center of the circle. The dancers often hold a large wooden pole, which the person in the center uses for support as they perform various flips and spins. The dance is accompanied by music, typically played on traditional instruments such as the dhol and the nagada.
