AGENDA • OVERVIEW • CHANGES • What Will Stay The Same? • What Will Change? • USERS • Who Are They? • What Will They Do? • ACCESS • How will SRAs & GTAs Use The System?
OVERVIEW • Percentiles in Use at NIH Since Early '80's. • Currently, scores entered in IMPAC II must bridge to IMPAC I, where they must be "Released" for percentiles to be calculated.
CHANGES • What Will Stay The Same? • Logic used in IMPAC I has been duplicated in IMPAC II • What Will Change? • Capability for controlling special rules will be in the hands of the IC super users instead of OER staff (i.e. Mark Siegert) • what to %, • what not to percentile, • what to suppress)
USERS • Who are the Super Users? • One super user (plus alternate) per IC • What Will They Do? • Use the following screens to define and refine rules for percentiling
WHAT TASKS CAN BE CARRIED OUT ON THE BASE ADMINISTRATION SCREENS? • Define the Percentile Base for chartered SRGs. • Create the Percentile Base for an IC (to percentile SEPs)
WHAT TASKS CAN BE CARRIED OUT ON THE APPLICATION ADMINISTRATION SCREEN? • This screen is used to: • define the rules for which applications get percentiled, • indicate if percentiles will be displayed, • Indicate which meetings will use which base.
SRA/GTA USES For Chartered Groups: No Actions Required; Just release scores and percentiles will be calculated. For SEPs: Users will see the following screen when they release scores
This is the Warning message you will receive if you enter an invalid parent SRG or the Super User has NOT created the base.
This is the Warning message you will receive if the SEP met before the parent SRG. Choose CONTINUE to accept the base from the previous round, or CANCEL to wait until the parent SRG base is created.
